e-learning e2c classification: a practical tool for e-learning creation

e-learning e2c classification is a readable and reliable grid about asynchronous e-learning modules. It allows you to facilitate the preparation and the development of e-learning creation, by highlighting criteria and indicators that we notice during a project.

Two key indicators to define the production level of e-learning content

e2c e-learning classification is a grid based on four levels and two parameters : scenario production and multimedia elements production.

These two indicators, used together, allow you to describe the final version of the project with regard to the financial investment.

    Scenario production
  • Level 1: The creation of a particular pedagogical scenario is not required
  • Level 2: The pedagogical scenario combines knowledge transmission phases with formative or summative evaluation phases (knowledge acquired during the course)
  • Level 3: Corresponds to level 2 but enriched by the creation of a cinema-type scenario
  • Level 4: Learners are placed at the heart of a cinema scenario based on a quest or game

    Multimedia production
  • Level 1: Production of multimedia elements is not required
  • Level 2: Creation of simple illustrations with or without sound synchronization
  • Level 3: Creation of complex 2D illustrations and animations and/or simple video sequences
  • Level 4: Creation of complex 3D illustrations and animations and/or complex video sequences
